We met regularly with a number of community organizations including members of the East Village Association, Jefferson East, Inc, the City of Detroit and the Villages CDC, stakeholders such as Pewabic, Greatwater Capital, Cinnaire, neighboring businesses such as Ivy Kitchen, as well as numerous residents in the immediate area.

How do you intend to partner with the local neighborhood group in order to foster a healthy working relationship?  Examples can include frequently coming to neighborhood association meetings as well as financial  from time to time.  *

We plan to host a permanent space for the East Village Association in a neighboring property and support their efforts in the community.

What environmental issues have you uncovered on the site?  If there are any, please describe anticipated remediation plans.  *

The property served as a dry cleaners and proper soil remediation will be done, as well as the installation of vapor mitigation systems.
