The building will be the headquarters for two non-profit organizations - Signal-Return and Progressive Art Studio Collective. The building will also include 5,300 square feet of affordable artist studio spaces, and nearly 5,000 square feet of creative retail spaces.

We shared our plans with neighboring religious organizations Allen Temple and Spiritual Israel Church, other adjacent property owners including Greatwater Capital and Hantz Farms, plus meetings with members of the East Village Association, Jefferson East, Inc, the Villages CDC, the City of Detroit, Pewabic, Cinnaire, and various residents in the immediate area.

How do you intend to partner with the local neighborhood group in order to foster a healthy working relationship? Examples can include frequently coming to neighborhood association meetings as well as financial from time to time.

We're hoping to provide permanent space for the East Village Association at a neighboring property being developed. We intend on regularly meeting with the organization and coming up with creative strategizes to raise proceeds and awareness for their various efforts.
