Also, please mark your calendars to join us for the launch of the East Village Spring Market and our new “Buy the Block” campaign on Saturday, April 25, from 10 AM–5 PM, along Kercheval Avenue (between Cadillac & Pennsylvania) in Detroit’s East Village.

A collaboration among Vesey Lane Goods, Grandeur Cru Wine Shop, Redesign and Restoration, and Moonlight Arts Collective, this weekly market (running April 25 through June 13) brings together local makers, pop-up vendors, shopping, creative workshops, and great food—all in celebration of community and small business.

Opening Day Highlights:

• Pop-up vendors including Taqwa Safiya, Epic Infants, and Aligned Designs

• Food from Tacos Hernandez  (free tacos for the first 60 guests, thanks to ProsperUs Detroit)

• Coffee and refreshments from Twelve 12 Coffee Company inside Redesign and Restoration) 

We’re also excited to introduce Buy the Block, a grassroots initiative encouraging visitors and community members to directly support neighborhood businesses on our block. Participate by spending $25 or more at each participating shop and help strengthen our local economy.
